Changes Made in the Types in Pokémon Go Games

The fan & followers of the Pokémon Go might be noticed that there are no Type immunities in the Pokémon Go Game as compared to the other games of the main series. But it does not end here. Following immunities are removed.

  • Ground Immune changes to the Electric.
  • Flying Immune Changes to the Ground.
  • Ghost Immune changes to the Fighting.
  • Normal & fighting Immune changes to the Ghost.
  • Steel immune changes into the poison.
  • Dark Immune changes Psychic.
  • Fairy Immune changes to Dragon.

Pokemon Type Chart Weakness & Strengths

Rather than the total immunity damage it firstly works as a simple resistance. Presently, in any case, they’ve been changed to a form of another level of resistance, with the defending Pokémon that would ordinarily be immune taking simply 0.51 times the damage. Major Changes in the Type Chart

Generation 2-5

  • Fairy Type Pokémon was not included.
  • Ghost & dark types moves were not much effective against the Steel-type Pokémon. From Generation 6 they do neutral damage.

Generation 1

  • In Generation 1 there were no Dark or Steel Types.
  • The moves of the Ghost-type have no effect on the Psychic Pokémon.
  • Bug Pokémon was super-effective on the Poison Pokémon.
  • The moves of the Ice Type Pokémon were neutral against the Fire Type Pokémon. Now in Generation 5,6, they are not very effective.
